Connect appoints first commercial director

Darrell Smith has joined The Connect Partnership to become its first Commercial Director.

A 14-year qualified lawyer with extensive legal and finance experience at three of the UK's largest international commercial law firms, Darrell moved into industry in 2001. Darrell was Commercial Director at BNY Mellon until January 2008.

Commenting on Darrell's appointment, Connect's MD Brian Reid said: "Darrell has joined Connect to help us sharpen the commercial edge to our business strategy.
